Kindermusik Philosophy

Kindermusik is the community of families and teachers passionately committed to bringing music to children's lives through developmentally appropriate curricula, CDs, books, instruments, and activities for our classes and for family time at home. Kindermusik's philosophy is founded upon rigorous research and our fundamental beliefs:

  • Every parent is the child's most important teacher.
  • Every child is musical.
  • The home is the most important learning environment.
  • Music nurtures a child's cognitive, emotional, social, language, and physical development.
  • Every child should experience the joy, fun, and learning which music brings to life.

Kindermusik in Israel in English
Since it is taught in English, the Kindermusik classes give the baby and toddler a wonderful head start on learning a second language. For the pre-schooler (ages 3 and 4 years) it will reinforce the English that he or she may have picked up from the home environment. Once the child is in nursery school, you’ll be delighted to find a class that will help you keep English active.

ABOUT KINDERMUSIK

General Description of Kindermusik
Kindermusik International (http://www.kindermusik.com) has more than 25 years of experience creating curricula based on new and proven research in child development. The award winning books, CDs, games, and instruments nurture skills in the whole child: cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language. In a Kindermusik class, educators lead a group of parents and their children through joyful activities, using music and movement. Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates learning with fun as expressed in musical play.

The learning process continues at home, guided by specially designed books, CDs, and games.

  • Movement and dance activities improve coordination and balance.
  • One-on-one parent and child interaction nurtures self-esteem.
  • Music-making and music listening activities develop self-discipline, as well as critical and creative thinking skills.
